OSHA 10-HOUR GENERAL INDUSTRY OUTREACH TRAINING COURSE

This training covers a range of common safety and health hazards found in general industry workplaces. It provides essential information on identifying, abating, avoiding, and preventing job-related hazards, enhancing employees’ hazard awareness, and promoting a safe and healthy work culture. Additionally, it includes an overview of safety and health regulations, employee rights, and employer responsibilities.

Training Overview/Topics include:

  • Introduction to OSHA
  • Walking and Working Surfaces (Including Fall Protection)
  • Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention Plans, and Fire Protection
  • Electrical
  • Personal Protective Equipment
  • Hazard Communication

  • Machine Guarding
  • Lockout / Tagout
  • Ergonomics
  • Bloodborne Pathogens

Unfortunately no, this is in-person training only. We want to provide hands-on experience and training. It will not be streamed or recorded.

About the Speaker

Mr. Bouyett is a health and safety professional, bilingual in English and Spanish, with over 34 years of experience implementing safety programs and regulatory and legal compliance.  He boasts expert knowledge of OSHA, the National Fire Protection Association, and American National Strands Institute standards.  His background includes performing site inspections for regulatory compliance, accident investigations, hazard assessments, ergonomic evaluations, behavior-based safety implementation, manufacturing safety, root cause analysis, OSHA Voluntary Protection Programs, and continual improvement processes.  He has vast experience in manufacturing utilizing Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement disciplines.  Mr. Bouyett is a former Federal OSHA Compliance Health and Safety Officer and Assistant Area Director.
