The PEER North planning team is pleased to announce the upcoming second edition of PEER North: Evidence-Based Navigation of Northern Medicine. This conference not only aims to provide valuable medical insights but also emphasizes the importance of fostering connections within the Northern community. In addition to the enriching professional sessions, attendees can look forward to engaging in a range of social and land-based cultural activities. 
 

We look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones at this event and extend a warm invitation to physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals. Those already practicing in the North, as well as those considering northern practice are welcome to join us. This conference promises to be an invaluable experience for all attendees seeking to enhance their knowledge and network within the Northern medical community.

Cancellation policy

 

There will be no fee charged for cancellations made prior to September 1st, 2023.  After this, an administration fee of $40 will be applied.

After a successful inaugural year, the Northwest Territories Medical Association (NWTMA) confirmed that greater collaboration and a sharing of experiences and knowledge unique to Northern practice was indeed a rewarding and memorable experience. With support from PracticeNWT, and in partnership with PEER; Patients, Experience, Evidence, Research; an organization free from industry bias; we are enthusiastic about continuing this Northern family medicine education forum for a second year. We encourage all interested healthcare providers to attend.
