Join us as we connect with Kindergarten teacher (and HTH GSE Alumni), Michelina Miedema, as she shares the story of Creatures Before Us: A Kindergarten Investigation of Dinosaurs. In this multidisciplinary project, HTeM students wondered, "How can digging into the past help us understand ourselves and the world around us?" In this session, participants will leave with valuable insights on collaborative design with young children and foundational skills integration. Project Unpackings are an in-depth exploration of structures used to design for deeper learning. Each session is facilitated by a HTH educator and focuses on one or more of the PBL Essentials. This is an interactive workshop in which participants are asked to design, discuss, and reflect. Project Unpackings welcome new and experienced educators.
