For the past five years we have been running Positivity Summits all over and outside the country. From New York to England there has been speakers from all over the world sharing their unique stories and perspectives. During the pandemic we had to pivot and run our events online, but we are so happy to announce that this July 29th we will be back in person! The theme of our 8th Positivity Summit is “What Now”. After the past two years it’s now time to stop saying “Why Me” and to start saying “What Now”. It’s time to pick ourselves back up and continue to fight for our dreams and goals. This summit will be a fun, interactive, and transformational experience that you do not want to miss!
Seven years ago I created the Positivity Summit to help unite human beings, regardless of race, religion, political preference, or socioeconomic status. My goal has always been to focus on the good in mankind, and not the bad.

Who is Cornell Thomas? That’s a question that even I wasn’t quite sure about until 8 years ago. When I sat down to write the about section for my website, I didn’t want to give you a bunch of titles. What I do is who I am, so without knowing me you could never know my why. I am the youngest son of Bobby and Tina Thomas. If not for my parents I wouldn’t be the man you see today. My father passed away when I was just four years old, and although my time with him was brief I’ve learned through others the amazing legacy that he left behind., as a police officer and community leader. My fathers passing forced my mom to become our everything. My mom was thrusted into the role of everything for our family. From the great Tina Thomas I learned there was no problem that didn’t possess a solution. We were raised on the old adage Everything happens for a reason”, it was one of the many lessons she taught me was never forgotten. It’s what I remembered when I suffered a career ending basketball injury, and the first thing I think about when adversity comes my way. My journey started on the basketball court, and after a career ending injury shifted to coaching. Eight years ago I realized that I had a bigger calling. I knew there was something else that God wanted me to do on this earth. I was on my Facebook timeline one day and was tired of all the negativity I saw. So I started posted positive quotes, the quotes become blogs, and then the blogs books. I decided to share my story with the rest of the world. Flash forward to today and I have blessed with the opportunity to impact thousands of people all over the world. Who am I? I’m a father, husband, speaker, author, and someone living his purpose and helping others realize they can too.
