Every January the world is filled with promises both new and old. The problem with those promises is that they are in the form of resolutions. Yes my friends in two months you will see the same new year, new me post from last year, and possibly even the year before all over social media. One of the biggest issues with these resolutions are they have no substance. It’s easy to talk about making change in our lives, but a lot harder to sustain the action needed to make that dream into a reality/ Change requires a revolution not a resolution. You have to revolt against old habits and routines, and replace them with new ones.
The theme of this Positivity Summit is Self Evolution. It’s about developing not only the mindset needed to make real change happen, but also how to sustain it.
This is a concept that has eluded us on a global scale since the beginning of time, but now more than almost ever unity is so desperately needed. We need to come together as human beings and replace hate, ignorance, and bias with love, empathy, and inclusion. Let’s be the generation that starts to change the narrative of how we are to each other. If there was anything I could ask you it’s please share this, none of this can do this alone. United we stand, and divided we fall.
Two years ago I created the Positivity Summit to help unite human beings, regardless of race, religion, political preference, or socioeconomic status. My goal has always been to focus on the good in mankind, and not the bad. When the corona virus first struck one of the first questions that I was asked was what will I do about the Summit. My answer was pivot. Instead of holding it in one city, or country, and in front of a limited audience. I could now make it a global event that people from all over the world could see simultaneously.
