Getting On Board! uses the latest RI data on the diversity of state boards and commissions, as well as the state's largest nonprofit organizations to explore why diversity at these tables can make a difference for the broader community, how everyday citizens can be recruited/appointed to these boards, and how we can make the process more transparent moving forward. Panel speakers include Marcela Betancur, Executive Director of the Latino Policy Institute, Craig Dwyer Director of Appointments in the Governor's Office, Lisa Ranglin, President & CEO of RI Black Business Association, and others.
