We are having a *RAISE THE ROOF SPECIAL* as the Jail is in need of a new roof. The current shingles are crumbling and the replacement is needed asap. These huge discounts are for a very limited time and are for the remaining dates we have available for private investigation sessions. Take advantage of this sale! Everyone who books a date during this sale or donates during this sale will have their name on a plaque that will be on display at the Jail, thanking all who helped "Raise The Roof".
Choose the date of your session from the list of tickets available. All sessions start at 8pm to 4am and are for a maximun of 8 people included in the price. Make sure you select the correct date you want when checking out as all sales are final and non-refundable.
If your team or group would like to sleep at the Jail, with checkout at 10am, it will be an additional $100.00 for the entire team. This is payable in cash the night of your investigation session. We have a full bed and two twin beds complete with linens. We also have two couches, a futon and two cots that can be utilized for sleeping, but you would need to bring your own blanket and pillow for those options.
The Old Paulding Jail was featured as the two hour season premier of The Travel Channel's paranormal show, "Portals to Hell", starring Jack Osbourne and Katrina Weidman. This Jail was built in 1876 and closed it's doors as the County Jail in 2006.

There are working bathrooms and electricity throughout the building. You must be able to climb stairs. There are no elevators in the building.

Regular price for Night Time Weekday session hours are 8:00pm to 2:00am Monday thru Thursday for $400 for your group of up to 8 people
Regular price for Night Time Weekend session hours Friday thru Sunday are 8pm to 4am for $600 for your group of up to 8 people.
All reservations must be made online and in advance.
Once your session is booked all sales are final. There are no refunds.
All members of your group will be required to sign a waiver of liability upon arrival.
With regards to covid-19, the Jail is routinely sanitized after any and all investigation sessions. If The State of Ohio has a mandated face mask order, you will be required to wear face masks while inside the jail. A hand sanitizing station will be in place.
We have a strict policy in place that does not allow media productions without our consent and a signed media contract. If you are a youtube or tiktok star, please contact us via email before booking a session that you want for media or film production.
This special price is for private teams/ friends, meaning, after you book your date, you do not have permission to hold a ticketed event where you charge others for tickets in excess of splitting this fee between all the people in your group. Basically, no scalping allowed.
Some of the evidence that we have captured at the old Paulding Jail include, disembodied voices of male and female entities, phantom footsteps, doors slamming, cabinets slamming shut, lights turning on and off, equipment being turned on and off, photographs, shadow ghosts, the sound of jingling keys, music and so much more.
That is just a small sample of what goes on here.
While the jail is very haunted, we have no control over the resident spirits or any spirits that visit the jail. That being said, we cannot guarantee you will experience any paranormal activity, however we will have all conditions in place for your best possible experience and best possible chance of capturing some paranormal activity.
