Seeing the Forrest for the Trees: Challenges and Opportunities for Branch Campus Expansion

Nicholas Bradley, Kaelan Kennedy, Michael Dickerson (OGC/Regulatory and Business Affairs), August 16, 2017, from 1-2pm in Alumni Center, Columbus Place, 6th floor

As Northeastern continues its mission toward becoming a global University system and pursuing the goals of "Northeastern 2025," branch campus sites, particularly those overseas, will become vital in securing Northeastern’s status as the premier global experiential education provider. Determining how Northeastern enters into a foreign jurisdiction, from the corporate and tax structure to the academic offerings to the marketing of new programs and recruitment of students, is imperative to the success of our overseas endeavors. This seminar will explore the various ways higher educational institutions are regulated in states, provinces and countries where NU is present or seeks to establish a presence, including in Europe and Asia.

This seminar is ideal for employees who work to support international programs and branch campuses. Come discuss more about this topic with our panel on August 16th.

*Please feel free to bring your own lunch.
