Learn how real estate agents can use the “Reverse Mortgage” program to help Seniors purchase property. The Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) Purchase program can be used to increase an agent’s sales and serve the growing Baby Boomer population.
The Reverse Mortgage has been around for 30 years and continues to be misunderstood. It is crucial that older adults, their adult children and trusted advisors, including REALTORS, learn the details of how housing wealth can be used in a proactive and informed manner.
This 3-hour CE class will cover the history of the Reverse Mortgage, uses, strategies, case studies, facts, pros and cons and the research that has been done on how using housing wealth helps with a more efficient retirement.
I will focus on Real Estate Agents need to know this information to help more of their Baby Boomer Clients and increase their own sales. With 10,000 Baby Boomers turning 62 every day, it’s important they know how the Reverse Mortgage can be used to purchase a new home.
This course will include a lot of content, games and fun and will include lots of time for questions and interaction.
I charge $20 per attendee at the door.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to
- Understand how to use the FHA Insured Reverse Mortgage (HECM) to purchase a home;
- Understand the qualifications of a borrower to utilize the HECM for purchase;
- Understand what properties are eligible for this program;
- Understand the details of this program and how to explain it to potential Senior Homebuyers;
