This event Aims of this session are to enable the learners to gain an awareness of sepsis.
What is Sepsis? Who is at risk? What are the signs and symptons of sepsis? Common causes of sepsis?
General practice role in helping prevent infections, immunisations and use of advanced care plans. The importance of recording accurate physiological measurements and understand the significance of abnormal results. Reporting concerns and introduction of SBAR communication techniques to relay concerns.
If you have never had any training in Sepsis, please attend this course. You do not need to attend the Deteriorating Patient training if attending this course with in the same year.
