· How to compare/contrast sexual learning in the general populations with patterns of learning among individuals with cognitive disabilities
· How to identify typical stages in childhood and adolescent sexual development (“What’s normal?”)
· Key roles parents/professionals play in supporting healthy sexual development
· The foundational concepts that support healthy sexuality
· Teaching strategies that enhance learning
· Successful models for handling sexuality issues
· Useful resources for teaching sexuality education to individuals with cognitive disabilities
