Message from Dr. Andrew Modest, SHM BAAHM Chapter President:
On behalf of the Advisory Board, I am pleased to invite you to the next meeting of the Boston Association of Academic Hospital Medicine – Society of Hospital Medicine! We have all been through the time of our lives, professionally and personally the last more than two years. In some ways, “…the best of times and the worst of times…”. We rose to the occasion, innovated, solved, extended ourselves and cared. We are so excited to get our Community of Academic Hospitalists back together and have decided to emphasize making this reunion and sharing what we did and what we learned the focus on the meeting itself. “The Return of BAAHM: Rebuilding Our Community Through Stories” This will NOT be a “Story Slam” (that will come later!). This event involves no preparation and all will have the opportunity to participate in the evening. So come, have a beverage and a wonderful meal with us and re-connect with old friends and make new connections.
