Dr. Shaili Gupta, MBBS
Assistant Professor of Medicine (General Medicine); Director of Didactic Education for Medicine House-staff at VA, General Internal Medicine
Dr. Gupta is a clinician-educator who works as an Academic Hospitalist and Infectious Disease specialist at the VA. Her primary interests are in clinical research and medical education. She is the director of didactic education for Internal Medicine house-staff at the VA, medical coach for first-year YSM students, and serves as research advisor and mentor to students, residents and fellows. She completed her fellowship training at Yale in 2008, and currently is the Diagnostic Stewardship champion at the VA. She divides her time between providing patient care for veterans admitted to the VA hospital, education for trainees, and working on various committees at VA and Yale dedicated to education, antibiotic stewardship, and ethical research.
