The training program is organized annually by the Chapter Support Committee and SHM Staff to keep Chapter Leaders up to date on policy and procedures and to discuss hot topic areas impacting the chapter community. The 2022 training program agenda is still being finalized, however, it will feature a collaborative/ discussion-focused format. Topics will include district-chair utilization, marketing/outreach tips for meetings, member recruitment, retention and engagement, and chapter meetings (virtual, in-person, hybrid).
