The SHM South Central PA Chapter will be hosting their 6th Annual Academic Day in-person on Saturday, November 11th at 7:00 a.m. ET at Wellspan York Hospital's Education Pavilion in York, PA. Please join the chapter for networking, a series of academic presentations and for the chapter's annual Scientific Abstract Competition.

"Dear Colleagues,
We are happy to announce that the Society of Hospital Medicine South Central PA Chapter Annual Academic Day and Competition 2023 will take place this year, in person on Saturday November 11, 2023, at WellSpan York Hospital’s Education Pavilion. The theme for this year’s conference will be “Personalizing Care for the Patient and the Provider.” This event is intended for physicians and allied health professionals who care for patients in the hospital setting and will include both large and breakout sessions covering a range of topics geared toward providing up-to-date patient care as well as maintaining caregiver resiliency.

The Society of Hospital Medicine designates this in-person activity for a maximum of 6.00 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Instructions for finding the Education Pavilion:
- You will need to enter the hospital through the Main Entrance, located to the diagonal right as you walk out of the parking garage.
- Once you walk into the atrium, just past registration and some bathrooms on your left, you will take the hallway on your left and follow it around to the educational pavilion.
- As you are walking you will pass the North Elevators (on your right) and will walk by our Simulation Center (sections on both sides of the hallway).
- The hallway with the lecture hall, registration, etc, will be on your left (if you get to the bathrooms on your left, you just passed the hallway).
