The SHM South Central PA Chapter will be hosting its 7th Annual Academic Day in person on Saturday, September 28th at 7:00 a.m. ET at WellSpan York Hospital's Education Pavilion in York, PA. Please join the chapter for networking, a series of academic presentations, and the chapter's annual Scientific Abstract Competition.
The Society of Hospital Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Society of Hospital Medicine designates this in-person activity for a maximum of 4.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
The faculty and planners of these activities have no relevant relationships to disclose. All relevant relationships were mitigated prior to the start of this activity.

"We are proud to announce that the theme of this year's 7th Annual Society of Hospital Medicine South Central PA Chapter Conference and Abstract Competition will be “Building Bridges and Breaking Barriers: Addressing Inpatient Care Challenges in 2024.” This event is intended for physicians and allied health professionals who care for patients in the hospital setting and will include both large and breakout sessions covering a range of topics geared toward providing up-to-date patient care and guidance on how to address commonly encountered inpatient care challenges. To facilitate comradery and group learning, this year’s conference and poster exhibition will be in-person."

Instructions for finding the Education Pavilion:
- You will need to enter the hospital through the Main Entrance, located to the diagonal right as you walk out of the parking garage.
- Once you walk into the atrium, just past registration and some bathrooms on your left, you will take the hallway on your left and follow it around to the educational pavilion.
- As you are walking you will pass the North Elevators (on your right) and will walk by our Simulation Center (sections on both sides of the hallway).
- The hallway with the lecture hall, registration, etc, will be on your left (if you get to the bathrooms on your left, you just pass the hallway).
