The SHM Utah Chapter will be hosting an in person event on Wednesday, June 26th at 6:00 p.m. MT at La Jolla Groves in Provo, UT. Please join the chapter to network with other clinicians in your local area and for an educational presentation titled "Overview of Long COVID: Pathology, Diagnosis, Treatment," provided by Dr. Dixie L. Harris.

Dr. Dixie Harris is a practicing pulmonologist at Intermountain Health with interests in sleep medicine and pulmonary critical care. Dr. Harris was highly engaged with patient treatment and development of protocols during the COVID pandemic. She was one of a few physicians from Intermountain to be deployed during the COVID pandemic from Utah to New York City. It was during the COVID pandemic that Dr. Harris developed an interest in Long COVID and now serves as a regional expert on these patients.
