The Signs of Suicide (SOS) Train the Trainer is designed to provide your facilitation team (mental health team, administration and support staff) the tools and knowledge needed to successfully implement the SOS program to faculty and staff, parents, and students in your school.  The SOS Train the Trainer expounds on the district’s implementation plan, walks the team through the program’s activities and resources, including the on-line portal kit, and provides valuable best practices to support schools in the program roll-out.  The Regional SOS Train the Trainer will be conducted for identified adult facilitators in each region of Connecticut, resulting in the team members learning the tools and techniques necessary to train staff, parents and students on the Signs of Suicide program.
