Get ready! The MomWalk Collective Costa Mesa is teaming up with Skate Coastal. Come join us for a 30 minute lesson, some amazing raffle prizes, coffee and treats and a short walk to Tewinkle park!
9:30-10:00am Skate Coastal Lesson (Ages 4-12) + Skate activites for ages 3 and under. Grab a coffee and treats out on the grass and watch your kiddos learn to skateboard!

Skate Coastal is a skateboarding program that offers summer camps, after-school programs & special events to children ages 4-12 throughout Orange County, California. Founded by a team with extensive backgrounds in both career skateboarding and childhood educational development, Skate Coastal will deliver an amazing & unique experience for your child! Their goal each week is to get your child riding, & walking away with new friends to ride with!
The skate lesson is for kids aged 4-12 years old. The lesson will start at 9:30am and run for 30 minutes. It will be a great preview of what their summer class looks like. If your child will be participating in the class please select the correct ticket and then fill out Skate Coastal's waiver in addition to The Mom Walk Co waiver.
If your child is under 4 years old, we will also have fun skateboarding focused activities for them on the grass directly next to the skate park. And if you have very little ones, the grass area is a prefect place to bring a blanket, hang out and make some mom friends!
High Grounds Brewing will also be selling coffee and we will have other treats as well!! After the skate lesson we will take a short 10 minute walk over to Tewinkle park and play for a little bit before we say goodbye.

- elbow pads & wristguards
- Skatboard sizing is CRUCIALLY important for younger riders, as a board that is adult size WILL NOT work for a little rider..
- Be sure to wear flat tennis shoes (Vans, Converse, etc) are not required, but reccomended.
- Be sure to slather some sunscreen on before your skater arrives and some snacks and water are important to pack!
