He helps both individuals and groups to relax, and come into greater resonance and harmony.
He is also an Advanced HealthRHYTHMS facilitator and a HealthRHYTHMS Adolescent Protocol facilitator, and has studied the art of drum circle facilitation, and how to heal with drums, with some of the best known pioneers in the industry. He is also fluent in English, French and Spanish.
In 2017 Rufus became a sound healing practitioner, and is the founder and director of Sacred Song Circles, a community choir that he started online during the pandemic.
He passionately believes that everyone has rhythm, and a voice worth sharing, and that we all long for, and benefit from, real connection with others, and with mother nature.
Sergei Vasilyeu discovered healing music at his first Ayahuasca ceremony in 2011. The plant teacher took Sergei on a deep magical journey of surrendering to the beauty of the Natural World, to the great love and wisdom of the Universe, away from the little lonely world of the indoctrinated mind.
During his second Ayahuasca ceremony Sergei was so touched by the music again that he could not help but sing along. It felt so good to discover the voice within, a powerful yearning to express joy and gratitude for life. Singing healing songs felt so good and healing that Sergei started singing them every day. He began collecting healing music everywhere his healing journeys took him.
Diego Palma, Jarah Tree, Snatam Kaur and many other performers of healing songs have become Sergei’s dearest teachers, because their songs helped see the truth and remember the wisdom learned in healing ceremonies. Sergei shared his passion and his song collections with thousands of people. He joined many singing circles to continue spreading the positive vibe in the community. Sergei has also been inspired by many people who shared the passion for the healing music, including his friends Rufus Glassco and Joy Ong.
