ADVANCED SPOON CARVING WORKSHOP WITH JEFF DONNE
INCLUDES BYO CAMPING AND ALL MEALS
Take your spoon carving to the next level. A great one day workshop to fine tune your spoon carving skills.
We will focus on more complex spoon designs such as cranked eaters and servers, and deep bowled scoops, with a strong emphasis on building your own design and style. Part of this process will be looking at matching a spoon and its design to the available wood species and quality.
Another big focus will be on pushing axe skills to new levels before teaching tips and methods used in carving flowing lines and finishing your spoon to a smooth knife finish.
A good workshop for people who have recently completed a spoon carving workshop, or have previous experience of carving spoons using an axe and knife. A perfect spoonerdy day!
This year's Spoon Jam and pre-Jam workshops has all meals provided (breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner) and BYO camping included in the ticket price, so all you need to do is camp, carve and eat, and we'll take care of the rest! If camping isn't your cup of tea, there are glamping bell tents with real beds and rooms at the homestead available directly through the Cuppacumbalong Homestead.
