We are happy to announce that our partnership with the City of Prince George and the Community Associations is still strong and will allow us to continue our very successful program.
We are also proud to support the Physical Literacy movement of our City with the Play for Life Prince George and making some of our Try-It! events accessible with the partnership with the Northern Adapted Sports Association.
In this year's program, we are introducing mini-programs of 4 to 6 weeks as well as having our regular single event Try-Its!.
Try a new sport, Yoga, hosted by the Crescents Community Association and Engage Sport North. This Yoga Mini-program Try-It! event - offered through the Sport Discovery Community Try-It! program - provides an opportunity to try and participate within a new sport once every week for 4 weeks. Participants can also try wheelchair Yoga and experience the sport in a new way.
This event cost $20.00.
Participants are encourage to bring their own Yoga mat. If not, the instructor should have some for you. Please wear appropriate athletic clothes and sport shoes if needed. You do not need to live in the area where the Community Association is located to participate in this event.
The event will be from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.
Minimal age to participate is 18+ years old.
Pre-registration is mandatory.

Dedicated to advancing sport participation and excellence in the north, Engage Sport North provides high quality sport participation and development services and programming to athletes, coaches, officials and sport leaders throughout Northern BC. In addition, Engage Sport North offers introduction to sport opportunities and physical literacy skill development to children and adults. Engage Sport North works with people of all ages and abilities from those new to sport to experienced athletes and coaches on a high performance pathway.
