Spring Fechten is a feeder event for Gesellen Fechten and our Free Fencing Federation. It is a smaller event but hosted in the same facility and ran in the same fashion as Gesellen Fechten.
The Tournament this year will be a 1 day event at an indoor sports facility in Oklahoma City.
The event will have:
- Professional staff for every tournament. No volunteers. Consistent reffing and judging.
- Some of the toughest competitors in HEMA coming from all around the globe.
- Huge indoor soccer arena with multiple rings. Action all day!
- Longsword Open Tier (B Tier) event!
- Women's Longsword Event
- Youth Multi Skill Event (Dussack in one round and Dagger in the next!)
- Sword and Buckler Event (mixed sword, but buckler mandatory)
- A format that prioritizes defensive skills rather than reckless offense.
- A format that focuses on giving fencers the MOST fighting possible! (guranteed 8 matches per event minimum)
