Engage Sport North is partnering with Squash BC  to host a Squash Community Coaching Conference at the University of Northern British Columbia in Prince George over the weekend of September 24-26

The primary objective of the Squash Community Coaching Conference is to support, train and inspire a network of volunteer or part-time Community Coaches who can then champion and grow squash in Northern BC. Participants can be squash players, coaches, physical education teachers, anyone who is passionate about growing the game of squash among adults and juniors in their communities, clubs, schools and anyone who has an interest in developing their skills as a squash coach and their ability to develop programs and activities to engage new and existing squash players.

There will be a mandatory component for all participants to attend Saturday September 25, 2021 from 9 AM to 6 PM, participants will be responsible for providing their own lunches.

Included in the course registration fee is the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Make Ethical Decisions Coaching Module which is a mandatory component of becoming a trained Community Squash Coach. The course date is to be determined as we are waiting to hear back from viaSport for when we can host the course (viaSport usually charges $70 + GST for this course) for the course. If you have already taken the Make Ethical Decision Coaching Course please contact the SQBC Program Coordinator at sportdevelopment@squashbc.com.
