This interactive online session will teach you about the 8 steps involved in a systematic review, and why you need to prepare for each before you get started. Systematic reviews, if well done, provide a reliable and minimally biased source of information on topics of concern to clinical practice, patient safety and responsible health care services.
By the end of this session participants will:
- Understand the 8 steps of a systematic review
- Recognize the importance of developing an 'a priori' protocol
- Recognize the value of record keeping in all systematic review activities
- Understand the need for rigor and effort that a systematic review entails
