The Food Section covers food and drink across the American South. Launched in 2021 with the support of a Substack Local grant, TFS has been named among the nation's best newsletters by the International Association of Culinary Professionals, NYU's Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, and the James Beard Foundation.
