Talk Saves Lives: An Introduction to Suicide Prevention

Talk Saves Lives is a community-based presentation that covers the general scope of suicide, the research on prevention, and what people can do to fight suicide. Participants will learn common risk factors and warning signs associated with suicide, and how to keep themselves and others safe.

Elizabeth Clemens joined the staff of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in 2017. She serves as Area Director for the state of New Jersey, working to strengthen the development and implementation of education programming, advocacy, and support throughout the state of New Jersey. Since 2017, she has overseen hundreds of programs training thousands of New Jersey community members on suicide prevention. She regularly presents educational programs, speaks at local New Jersey conferences, and sits on panels all sharing her expertise in suicide prevention and mental health awareness
