This Community Conversation is being presented free for social workers, their clients, and the general public.  It is not CEU eligible.

 In partnership with NASW-NJ

As the conflict continues to escalate in Ukraine, it is normal to feel stress and fear and wonder what will come next.  With so many images of violence and so few answers, children are likely aware of the fighting even if it's far away and they may be feeling worried, anxious and have questions.  Therefore, it is important that we have developmentally appropriate and reassuring conversations with children about conflict.  Join Caryn Hirsch, LCSW of Catholic Charities and learn techniques about talking with children in your life and practice what is happening.
