Village To Village, Intl. is excited to offer this full-day TBRI training.  We will cover the three core principles of TBRI (Connecting, Empowering, and Correcting) and have opportunities for engagement and practice of TBRI skills and strategies.  This training will benefit anyone who works with kids in any capacity.

The training runs from 8:30-4:30.  Your registration cost includes coffee/pastries, lunch, and some physical resources to take home with you.  Each lunch comes with a sandwich, salad, dessert, and chips.  When you register please select one sandwich option 

Deadline to apply is July 26th.  We will not have this training if less than 10 people register.  You will be refunded your money if we need to cancel.  Our next training will be in early November.

8:30 Welcome (light refreshments available)
8:45-10:00 The Why: ACES and felt safety; Impact of complex trauma on function and structure of a developing brain.
Break  
10:15-11:45 Connecting: Being honest about our past to be available to others in the present; Practical skills we can use to help others feel seen, heard, and valued.
11:45-12:45 Lunch
12:45-2:15 Empowering: How to teach your child to understand their internal and external needs to increase their agency and give them a greater sense of control.
Break  
2:30-4:00 Correcting: Practical tools to build and maintain firm boundaries while, simultaneously, building trust and felt-safety between adult and child.
4:00-4:30 Q & A
