Wireshark Hands-On Training is a part of Tech Talk Live. Use Wireshark to capture and analyze network traffic in a switched Ethernet environment. Participants will elarn the basics of packet capture and analysis through each layer of the OSI model relevant to basic networking troubleshooting. The presentation will be lecture and demonstration showing pre-staged capture files, as well as live captures on a private demonstration network. The presenters will also demonstrate methods of capture, including various options available and step through the contents of a capture, identifying and explaining components of the required data.
This session will be streamed for free to all higher ed users registering with an .edu email address.
