This Community Conversation is being presented free for social workers, their clients, and the general public.  It is not CEU eligible.

Disabilities advocate, Dr. Jacqueline “Jackee” Jackson, D.MIN, MDIV, MSW, joins NASW-NJ for this Community Conversation reflecting on 32 years of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The conversation will highlight what social workers need to know about the ADA and how to accommodate their clients with various disabilities. Dr. Jackson will also discuss how social workers can help end disability discrimination by advocating for people with disabilities on both the micro and macro levels. She’ll also share how social workers can help their clients advocate for themselves and/or find the appropriate resources they need.
