Proud Mary Theatre Company present THE BOYS IN THE BAND 50th Anniversary Production
Proud Mary Theatre Company presents the 50thAnniversary of the historic original gay play THE BOYS IN THE BAND by Mart Crowley. Join us for the Deep South premiere of this new, updated version of this play that just closed on Broadway with an all-gay cast starring Jim Parsons, Zachary Quinto and Matt Bomer.
Set in 1968 just before Stonewall, “The Boys in the Band” features nine gay men at a birthday party where the insults flow as freely as the booze. It’s a “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” meets “La Cage Aux Folles.”
