Why: In his book, and in his keynote address to RCSD, George Couros encourages teachers to empower learners to wonder, to explore, and to become forward-thinking leaders. He points out that if we want innovative, motivated students, we need to emulate these characteristics for our students. He argues that innovation isn't a skill set, but a mindset. Although extremely thought-provoking, this book is easy to read. Be prepared to discuss, to learn, and to be inspired to lead the way to a #newandbetternormal.
