Michelle Meehan
Psychotherapist
Aurora Psychological Services
Michelle Meehan, MA, LPCC, is a psychodynamic psychotherapist with specific training and experience working with adolescents at various of levels of care. Michelle employs ideas from Winnicott and Lacan, interwoven with deeply nerdy special interests. Her appreciation for fandom cultures has drawn in a steady flow of individuals struggling to feel included and "normal" at a phase of life when there are few desires more profound. She routinely finds the taking of genuine interest in a young person's thoughts and words, no matter how odd or niche, is a tremendous boon to strengthening both ego and attachment.

Sean Toren, MSW, LICSW, MFA, is a psychodynamic psychotherapist who works with children, adolescents and adults. Sean has an interest in, among other things, how the theoretical framework of Child Centered Play Therapy, with its emphasis on how children manifest and process their themes through play, can be applied to adolescents and adults—with the lens focused on how they manifest their issues through their ‘play’ in art, sport, work and family structures.
