This Community Conversation is part of NASW-NJ's Race, Responsibility, and Reconciliation Series.

Over the past year, collective grief and acts of public mourning have been increasingly present in our lives. Marginalized communities are affected by loss in unique and painful ways. For many people of color, the fear, exhaustion and constant grief that come from regularly dealing with various forms of discrimination and racism are compounded when additional trauma--such as COVID-19 and police shootings of persons of color--are added in. This Community Conversation will explore the nature of the experiences of communal grief and communal trauma in communities of color and offer tips and tools to help social workers and clients experiencing these issues.

Webinar information will be sent to you in your confirmation email. If you don't receive your confirmation email, please check your spam folder.
