We welcome you to the Learning Train of Bluffton. We meet every Friday from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm at Maye River Baptist Church in Bluffton. Registration for Spring classes is open for our new and exciting workshops as well as our tried and true current studies. We'd love to have you join us!

Once your teacher collects your class roster, you will hear from him or her about each week's plans and commitments. We post general co-op news in the FB group The Learning Train Bluffton. $5 / wk, ages 9+ Learn to crochet at any level - beginner, intermediate, or advanced! This class can get you started or sharpen your skill set. The camaraderie in this class will have you hooked! No materials needed for your first class. Spend under $10 on supplies after. Craft, create, sculpt, and learn to follow any pattern - or write your own!

Have you ever wanted to learn how to take amazing photographs? Understand and operate with ease, all types of cameras, from old school film through the latest and greatest digital? The Photography club at The Learning Train will help you bring out the creative side of your imaging and give you a stylized approach to any type of lighting and composition situation that may arise. You will also be able to receive a High School elective credit. Some of the areas covered are: ? Basic imaging ? Camera usage (film and digital) ? Composition ? Flash ? Understanding terminology ? Photoshop ? Marketing your photographs ? Advanced Techniques....and much more! All experience levels are welcome, and will receive a lesson plan geared towards helping you become a confident and creative photographer. The cost is $25.00/Semester. Space is limited, so if the photographic arts is one of your learning goals, sign up soon.

American Sign Language by Crystal Nelsen, $5 per class, per student. 1:00PM It's truly amazing that we can communicate just by using our hands! Add different facial expressions, and you have a conversation—the language of Deaf people. In this course, you'll discover how to use this graceful, expressive language to communicate with Deaf people.

From covering your cakes to cutting shapes and painting on fondant, you’ll learn all the essentials, and get to create flowers, like calla lilies, roses and carnations! DETAILS Your Certified Wilton Method Instructor will help you each step of the way as you learn to: Prepare and color gum paste and fondant Cover a cake with fondant Create different types of bows and flowers, including the calla lily, rose and carnation Discover how easy it is to paint on fondant Design and complete a cake with the shapes and flowers from the course
