Workshop: Shoot the Splendor of Toronto's Architecture
Join Michael Muraz and Alanna St Laurent as we lead you through the best views that Toronto has to offer!
This workshop will focus on getting you as much shooting time as possible around Toronto, from sunrise to sunset, to night photography. We will photograph iconic views of Toronto and explore some of its most interesting architecture. As we go around Toronto, we will share our creative process and help you get the images you want to achieve. We will also get some classroom time to discuss our images and how we post-process them.
Here's a brief schedule for the workshop:
- August 19 - Meet and greet at 5pm, followed by sunset, blue hour and night photography.
- August 20 - Early start with a sunrise photoshoot followed by some classroom time. We'll shoot some architecture in the afternoon before going out for sunset, blue hour and night photography.
- August 21 - Early start with a sunrise photoshoot followed by some architecture photography until at least lunch. We'll continue in the afternoon if attendees are available.
Here're some of the places we'll shoot (subject to weather conditions):
- Skyline view from the islands
- Financial district
- City Hall
- Royal Ontario Museum
We will share with those who sign up for the workshop the full itinerary closer to the workshop, as well as what to bring with you to the workshop for it to be as successful as it can be.
Lodging: we suggest staying at the Hotel Victoria in the Financial District because it's perfectly located. If you decide on another place, we recommend that you pick somewhere close.
Transportation in Toronto: we will communicate with the attendees about how we'll move around Toronto.
