This event is being held as a side event to the 2019 EAT forum.
Building on the recent report of the Lancet Commission on Obesity, this interactive breakfast session will focus on breaking down civil society silos to address the Global Syndemic of obesity, undernutrition and climate change. In particular, it will focus on identifying synergies between issues and the platforms and opportunities for shared actions, exploring trade-offs and ways to overcome policy inertia, and finally prioritising double and triple win policies which civil society can coalesce around to help reduce policy inertia and address the global syndemic.
