Trauma informed care is a process that involves everyone in a school including administration, teachers, staff, students, and families. In this session, Monica Kurtz, M.Ed., Behavior Specialist, (of Region 13) will explain the basics of trauma and how it impacts our brains and bodies and your students' life academically, emotionally, and socially. In this session, participants will learn how trauma impacts brain development and how to help students develop resiliency.
