Session 1 from 9 AM - Noon - Understanding the Struggle of Poverty workshop is based on research by Dr. Ruby Payne and by Phil de Vol.
This workshop explores Hidden Rules of Class, Generational vs Situational Poverty, Poverty is More Than Financial Instability, Mental Models, 
and Effective Communication Tools.

Lunch from Noon - 1:30 PM - on you own

Session 2 from 1:30 - 4:30 PM - The Poverty Simulation, which is a powerful, interactive tool that allows participants
to "step into the shoes" of a person living in poverty through role-playing as a member of a "family."
