When in instances of natural disasters, mass violence, or crises stemming from chronic, systemic, and foundational issues, it is crucial for us as disaster behavioral health providers, responders, and community members to be intentional in our coordination and connection across sectors and with one another. For Vibrant's 3rd annual disaster behavioral health symposium, we will focus on how intentional partnership lends itself to positive, lasting transformation and resilience for those impacted by disasters and those responding to them.
Vibrant Emotional Health's 2023 Disaster Behavioral Health Symposium will focus on collaboration, teamwork, and connection between and within agencies, sectors, communities, and individuals in the face of disaster. While there is much that is working to pull us apart in moments of crisis, we can be more effective, innovative, and productive in our work if we choose intentional partnership along the way.
