This virtual, continuing education (CE) conference features an array of CE eligible topics of interest to mental health counselors, social workers, human resource professionals, behavioral therapists, psychologists and educators. Topics include ethics, substance abuse, multiculturalism, and more!

How does the conference work?

Participants can purchase access to the entire conference for $250.00 (that is less than $8 per CE hour). To purchase this ticket type, select the general admission ticket, then proceed to the next page. Upon registration you will be able to select all sessions you wish to attend live. Participants will receive an email confirmation containing the links to the zoom sessions. You can also access all links for registered sessions by returning to this website and viewing your registraion. *Participants that select this ticket option do not need to select indivudal session tickets*

Alternatively, participants can purchase access to individual sessions at a cost of 15$ per CE hour.

How do I access my sessions?

All programs take place via Zoom Webinar. Each session will have a unique webinar ID/Link.

Upon registration you will be able to select all sessions you wish to attend live. Participants will receive an email confirmation containing the links to the zoom sessions. You can also access all links for registered sessions by returning to this website and viewing your registraion. 

How do I get my CE/CEU Certificates?

In order to recieve a certifcate for a session, participants must attend the full session. After each session participants will be asked to complete a brief program evaluation. Once completed, certificates will be issued, via email, within two weeks. More details will be provided closer to the conference. 

I am busy that day, but still want to view the program, what can I do?

Most programs will be recorded and available for review from one week after the conference end date until December 31st. Programs not available for recording will be marked on the schedule. Participants must register for the live conference to access recordings. Please note, not all programs are able to offer CEs/CEUs when viewing the recording. BCBA and Illnois state CEUs can only be obtained via live attendance. 

Continuing Education Information: 

All Sessions are marked to indicate if CEs/CEUs are available and the types of CE/CEUs availble for that session. Programs offer 1 CE/CEU per hour of programming. For example, a 1 hour program offers 1 CE/CEU while a 3 hour and 15 program offers 3 CEs/CEUs

Continuing Education Credits (CEs) – Psychologists The term “CEs” refers to Continuing Education Credits earned by psychologists. To offer CE for psychologists, programming must follow the criteria established by the American Psychological Association (APA). Most licensing boards accept Continuing Education Credits sponsored by APA; non-psychologists are recommended to consult with their specific state-licensing board to ensure that APA-sponsored CE is accepted.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) – Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists
The term “CEUs” refers to continuing education units earned by mental health disciplines including LCPCs, LCSWs, and MFTs. Programs offering CEUs for LCPCs, LCSWs, and MFTs at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology follow the criteria outlined by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)- Applied Behavior Analysts

The Chicago School of Professional Psychology- Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Department is an Authorized Continuing Education (ACE) provider, ACE provider number OP 08-0178 with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Sessions that qualify for ACE CEUs are clearly identified. The Chicago School of Professional Psychology Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) program is solely responsible for all aspects of the sessions.

Justin has been with Linden Oaks Hospital for nine year's where he has been active in developing the treatment curriculum for the Adult and Adolescent Dual Diagnosis and Addiction Services Programming. Glen Bradley (no pronouns, or they or he) is a master's student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington, DC. His background includes advocacy and activism for LGBTQ+ people, beginning during his undergraduate studies at Santa Clara University, where he worked at the LGBTQ+ student resource center. Glen was invited to the 2016 National Jesuit Student Leadership Conference, where he spoke on LGBTQ+ cultural competency issues at Catholic universities. Glen has over 8-years of experience facilitating LGBTQ+ cultural competency training seminars across a diverse field, from the DC office for the Federal Maritime Commission to the DC Mental Health Counseling Association.

Dr. Reynolds holds a doctorate degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from Texas Southern University. Dr. Shauna Moore Reynolds is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LCPC-S) in Maryland, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Washington, D.C., a NBCC National Certified Counselor (NCC), and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). Dr. Shauna has served her community discussing the importance of mental health care and self-care. Steven Sultanoff, PhD is a psychologist, professor (Pepperdine University), professional speaker, and master Deliberate Practice Trainer. Matthew R. Mock, Ph.D. has given dynamic presentations on the relevance of cultural competence, ethnicity and multiculturalism in psychotherapy locally, throughout California, nationally and internationally. He is currently a Professor of Psychology with John F. Kennedy University. Prior to this, he was the Director and Ethnic Services/Multicultural Services Coordinator for the Family, Youth and Children's Services of Berkeley Mental Health for 20 years then the director of the Center for Multicultural Development with CIMH in Sacramento. He also has a private clinical and consulting practice in Berkeley providing clinical services to children, couples, adults and families, and consultation to programs and organizations. Dr. Mock is third generation Asian-American and has been committed to community mental health concerns, competent and responsive services to culturally diverse communities and social justice policies and practices, throughout his career. He has received numerous awards from professional organizations, guilds and programs, most recently 2019 Distinguished Contributions award from the Asian American Psychological Association. He is an invited speaker nationwide and internationally consistently receiving highest reviews by participants. He is the author of several book chapters and articles. Several recently published book chapters by Dr. Mock have direct relevance to the topic including narratives of social justice, men and the deleterious influences of patriarchy and experiences in his own life that inspire ongoing contributions to achieving greater social equity. Dr. Mariya Leyderman is a Licensed Psychologist. She earned a Masters degree in Social Work at Tel Aviv University in Israel specializing in stress, crisis, trauma, and working with refugees. While in Israel, Ms. Leyderman gained valuable experience working with the refugee population providing psycho-legal services. She earned her Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D.) with an emphasis in Forensic Psychology from Spalding University. She possesses several years of clinical experience working in multiple federal and state correctional institutions, psychiatric inpatient, and at-risk settings. She has worked in a variety different counseling settings, including private practice, college counseling center, and inpatient substance use disorder treatment. Ehsan Gharadjedaghi, Psy.D. (Dr. G) received his Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology in 2009 at the American School for Professional Psychology, Orange County. In terms of clinical experience, Dr. G has worked with at-risk youth on probation and in high school educational settings, HIV affected populations (HIV+ and related spouses and family members), substance and sex addiction clients, trauma and domestic violence clients, the elderly, and couples suffering from emotional and sexual problems. As far as clinical, therapeutic approach, Dr. G is an existential therapist who specifically enjoys couples and family therapy with a focus on Meditation, Gestalt therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Process Experiential Therapy, Object Relations and Self Psychology, and Advanced Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy. He frequently incorporates scientific models from neuropsychology in order to help his clients understand and manage their lives in a more holistic, realistic, and practical way. Prior to working in the ABA space, Missy spent 9 years conducting research and training special education teachers and behavior analysts at the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Nevada, Reno. Missy currently serves as a Guest Reviewer for the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders and the Review Journal on Autism and Developmental Disorders. She also served on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Early Intervention for 8 years, Topics in Early Childhood Special Education for 10 years, and Young Exceptional Children for 12 years. Missy has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters focusing on assessment and treatment of challenging behaviors, communication intervention, feeding disorders, and ethical issues for behavior analysts. Missy currently serves on the CTABA Board of Directors and Chairs the CTABA Public Policy and Legislative Outreach Committee (PPLO).
