[Week 3 - Session 3A] Level Up your Cyber-Security Skills with the Raspberry Pi Partial Approval - $50.00

In this workshop we will explore how to use the Raspberry Pi to teach cyber security concepts using project-based learning. Content from the Cisco IoT Security Course will be used to learn “White Hat Hacker” skills to perform vulnerability and risk assessment, and research and recommend risk mitigation strategies for common security threats in IoT systems. Additionally, we will utilize open source and free online tutorials to learn cybersecurity concepts. Examples and resources will be provided that can be used right away in your courses. A solid familiarity with the Raspberry Pi and basic Linux is recommended. [Week 3 - Session 3B] Cisco Network Programmability and Automation Partial Approval - $50.00

Discover the power of network programmability/automation using Cisco technologies. We will explore developer environments and tools such as Cisco CML, Microsoft Visual Studio Code and Hashicorp Vagrant and continue with basic Python programming concepts. Next, we explore REST APIs, what are they/how to interact and build solutions on top of them and look at Postman to craft our own REST API calls, environments, and collections. We explore Cisco DNA Center REST API, Webex Teams API and NX-API REST and use Python code to interact with these APIs and learn model driven programmability and concepts such as YANG, NETCONF and RESTCONF to create Python code to configure devices using these interfaces. Lastly, we will explore real life solutions built on top of Cisco APIs, such as a vulnerability reporting software using Cisco PSIRT and Cisco DNA Center REST API, Cisco ACI integration with the smartsheet.com SaaS offering and using a GitLab based CI/CD pipeline for network management.

[Week 3 - Session 3C] AWS Academy Introduction to Cloud: Semester 1 and Semester 2 Partial Approval - $50.00

While an undergraduate at Texas A&M University in the early 90’s, he created a company, Cloud Technologies, which ranged from automatic calibration of imaging systems for human function to logistics of building the US network. In 2008, he began to focus on understanding the network of the human brain as a biomedical engineer (MS-Univ. of Texas Arlington and UT Southwestern Medical School) to help those with Stroke, TBI, pain, PTSD or ADHD recover.
