Dissecting the Social Work Licensing Exam – Intensive One Day Class
Inspired Consulting Group, in partnership with the National Association of Social Workers – Delaware Chapter will host a one-day intensive social work exam prep class.
This class focuses on preparation for the NEW Masters and Clinical exams (LMSW, LCSW-C, LCSW, etc) A thorough overview of the test content will be provided as well as an analysis of test-taking strategies and tips useful for success on the exam. Topics that we will cover include but are not limited to:
•Social Work Assessment & Clinical Diagnosis
•Social Work Intervention Strategies
•Human Growth, Behavior and Developmental Theories
•Social Work Values and Ethics
•Addiction, Domestic Violence and Family Dynamics
•Community Practice
•Supervision and Administration
•Child Welfare and Gerontology
•Exam Taking Strategies and Relaxation Skills Necessary for Success
The class will be taught by Corey Beauford, LCSW-C, LICSW. Mr. Beauford earned his MSW at Howard University in Washington, DC. He is the Founder and President of Inspired Consulting Group. Inspired Consulting Group provides trainings and workshops that focus on a host of human services related topics.
Additionally, Mr. Beauford serves as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Maryland-Baltimore School of Social Work. Mr. Beauford has taught exam prep classes for the last 12 years. Inspired Consulting Group is currently the official exam prep provider for the Iowa, South Carolina, and Maryland Chapters of the National Association of Social Workers.
