Vision 30 is a ten-year initiative where by the year 2030 we want to see every child safe in their own family, or in another setting with a safe family supported by a faith community. As a result, the Vision 30 Center for Training is designed to train, equip, and mobilize community volunteers to better serve at-risk children and families in our area.
In this Introduction class, we will be covering topics such as Poverty, Trauma Informed Care, Cross-Cultural Service, and Professional Boundaries. Our goal is that this course will help you as a community volunteer lay a solid foundation for how you come alongside those who are most vulnerable. If you're an individual who has a passion for getting involved and desires to feel better equipped at engaging children and families that need support, then this class is for you!
