Over six months, the savED team was capturing the stories of five young Ukrainians from Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolayiv, Kakhovka, and Lviv. They are courageous, talented, and motivated to restore Ukraine right now, not only after the victory.
They are sharing the living-through-war experience as well as their dreams and project ideas that will help Ukraine recover. Working on these projects, they were mentored by experienced teachers, who are also sharing their testimonies: Andriy, principal of Mariupol Lyceum, will be telling a history of his school in the occupied city and relocation to Kyiv, and Nataliya, a geography teacher, will be recounting the challenges of leaving Kakhovka, also occupied today.
The film will be shown first, with refreshments offered on arrival, and a virtual Q & A session will happen afterwards with director, Olenka Severnchuck.
This event is in aid of savED Fountation (savED is an international charitable foundation that restores access to education in Ukrainian communities that suffered from the russian war against Ukraine) and donations will be accepted throughout.
The event is open to all, and we would be grateful to all in attendence.
