Ms. Stanley Nguyen is a member of several insurance, tax and retirement industry-related technical and policy committees for organizations such as the American Benefits Council (ABC), the American Council of Life Insurance (ACLI), Business Roundtable (BRT), Financial Services Roundtable (FSR), Investment Company Institute (ICI), Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA). Prior to joining the Principal Financial Group®, Ms. Stanley Nguyen served as Legislative Director and Tax Counsel for Congressman Ron Kind (D-WI-03), handling tax, retirement savings, trade, judiciary, small business, and financial services issues. For several years Ms. Stanley Nguyen had a broad tax practice at Bond, Schoeneck, and King, a regional New York law firm, and then at Bloomberg BNA in the State Tax division, in Washington, DC. ? Ms. Stanley Nguyen received her B.A. in English and German from Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA in 2001; her J.D., cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law in 2007; and her LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law in 2008.
