March 24th 5:00pm: Spring Into New Books with past president Kathleen Spence
Kathleen will showcase the newest children's and award winning books by giving a short description on each selection. From picture books to middle grades reads, Kathleen's presentation is one you don't want to miss.
April 15th 4:30pm author Emma Otheguy
Emma is an award winning children's author who writes about Latinex identity and Latin American history and literature. Her newest book, Sled for Gabo, comes out soon from Simon and Schuster.
May 6th 5:00pm author talk with Jarrett Lerner
Jarrett, author of the EngiNerds series, will talk with WJRC members about creativity and his novels. Jarrett's presentation will focus on STEM, free activities for teacher, and using graphic novels in the Middle Grades classroom.
