Intro to Street Riding
If you have the basic skills like starting, stopping and turning, but need to build your confidence riding on the street, come to a free learn-to-ride clinic for women, taught by women for women. Boston Bikes’ experienced staff and volunteers will help each participant gain the skills and confidence to venture onto the street and keep on rolling! We will run through a few quick drills in the parking lot, and then practice what we've learned on low-stress streets and paths. Bikes provided upon request. Those who graduate from the preceding Basic Skills class are welcome to attend, and do not need to register separately. If you cannot yet ride independently across a parking lot, please do not register for this clinic. Our Basic Skills class is more appropriate.
Boston Bikes invites any adults who identify as women to particate in our Learn-to-Ride series.
Cancellation policy Space is limited. If you know you can no longer attend, please cancel your reservation, or contact kim.foltz@boston.gov so that we are able to release your ticket to someone else.
