WORD PROBLEMS MADE EASY!
P3 & P4 / DAS Chua Chu Kang

Word problems can often be confusing and frustrating for children. This workshop aims to teach your child a language-based strategy to break down word problems by recognising the types of statements found within a given word problem, and how to systematically make use of the statements to form a mathematical model or make a plan that would help them make sense of the problem. Through the activities, we hope to build students’ confidence and to help them experience the joy in problem-solving.
